Threat & Vulnerability Assessment (TVA)

To develop an effective crisis-response plan, a city must first gain an accurate picture of the breadth and depth of its vulnerabilities.   SentryPoints' threat and vulnerability assessments enable cities to develop such a picture through a comprehensive examination of risks:

Risk Identification and Ranking

The TVA performed by SentryPoints examines facilities, infrastructure and other areas of vulnerability.   Each is assigned an "R-Value" (risk value) that allows cities to rank areas of risk from highest to lowest.   This information is necessary for correct allocation of very scarce resources in order to improve the "R" score.

Ongoing Evaluation

Potential threats and areas of vulnerability change over time.   A city must maintain an accurate assessment of its risk elements and vulnerabilities.   Through dynamic TVA software and training, SentryPoints empowers a city to maintain and evaluate their "R" (risk) profile on an ongoing basis.  

Informed Decision Making

Through the use of the R-Values assigned to the various elements of the city's vulnerability, city officials can make well-informed decisions about how and when to address each area of concern.
